Hey Shelley,

I just want to say thanks for your assistance with my website a few months ago. You did not have to go out of your way to help me research what was wrong with my site, but you did and it is greatly appreciated. Your expertise used in making me aware of duplicate content issues has gotten my site back on the right track.

• I had to delete all my product descriptions and bullet points because they were appearing identical on amazon and associate sites. I rewrote them and used "webstore widgets" so the new ones only appear on my site.

• I deleted my two other webstores with similar products just in case google was seeing the affiliation as duplicate.

• I consistently add original articles (with copyscape banner) to add value to my site and avoid being seen as a "thin affiliate."

I have been doing a "google dance" where I rank on the first page for a few days then disappear back to page 5, etc, then return a few days later. I suppose google is still working out if I am a trusted site. However, it is great to see the site back on the first page while I make improvements. When I feel the site is of "good quality" I will submit a re-inclusion request if I am still being filtered in the results.
